The Invisible Exhibition Budapest

You can try how to ask for a coffee in a bar or how to cross the road.  You can also see everyday objects used by blind people to make their lives easier like a Braille typewriter or a talking clock.

There are special programmes for visitors. Every Friday there is a dinner where you can sing and dance, in pitch dark, of course, or you can try the invisible massage.

As only a limited number of people can visit Invisible Exhibition at the same time it is strongly advised to book a place in advance. It takes about an hour and a half and about two-third of that you will be spending in the dark. It is also advisable to put on comfortable shoes. As young children might get frightened in the dark we suggest not to take children under 8.

Admission for adults on weekdays is 1450 Huf, for students 1200 Huf and family ticket for 2 dults and 2 children is 4000 Huf. On Mondays tickets are only 990 Huf but you have to book it in advance! At weekends and bank holidays 1750 Huf for adults, 1500 for students and 4800 Huf for families. Tickets for the dinner party are 6490 Huf for a four course dinner and 4990 for a two course dinner. The exhibition is in Nepliget only about 200 metres from Planetarium in the building of E-club. You can get there by underground line 3, , tram number 1, or by bus number 99 or 103 and get off at Nepliget stop.  GPS: N 47,47540  E 19,10323
